It's nice to have a bright, sunny day when you're off.

Not that I spent much time out in it. I had the day off, so I did a couple of loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen counters, scrubbed the bathroom floor and countertop, cooked stuff for lunches (fool that I am, I forgot tomorrow is Friday....), and cleaned out my kitchen cabinets.

I also watched five episodes of due South and practiced drawing, but just for a little while. On the one hand, it's really nice to practice during the day, when there's plenty of light, but on the other, I did have all of those chores I wanted to get done.

Of course, there's a long weekend coming up. With a bit of luck, I'll have some daylight hours to practice. After all, my class starts next Wednes=sday evening, and I'm anything but ready to start pretending I can draw in front of an audience....
