Today, I am announcing to the world that the S.E.N. climbed to over 64,000 words this weekend and I'm beginning to suspect it will never end.
Should I be happy that it's finally moving, and not be so obsessed by the fact that I'm not crazy about the stuff I'm writing?
Quality or quantity...it's always such a difficult choice.

posted by: Dail on 11.22.04 at 09:57 AM [permalink]Heh. I wrote another thousand words before I knocked off yesterday. There's probably another...I don't know...maybe 10,000 words? Something like that needed to finish the first draft on this one. It's not going to be the longest story I ever wrote, but it's going to be darned close.
After all, I did set out to write a novel, you know. Granted, it's a short one, as novels go, but after this experience, I think I'm cured of the urge. :)
Short-short-short...that's where I'm going next.
