NaNo!

I'll bet those of you uninterested in this contest are tired of hearing about it, right? I must know of ten people who are participating, but I haven't forgotten that most of the world couldn't care less.

19,183 words by the end of the day yesterday. I need to be over 30,000 by now, but whatever. I will not write at the office today! I have got to stop doing that, I have real work to do.

I'm reconsidering reconsidering adding the smut. I know, it's still cheating when the rest of the world is writing "real" novels, but over half of the content I currently have is smut-related.

The question is, is it better to finish what I started, or should I be more concerned with "doing it right"? It's very puzzling.

I am still finding it worrying that I have nothing to say if I'm not writing smut, though. Once I finish this contest, I'm going to sit down and think seriously about writing an original story that's smut-free.
